MEET CHARLIE!
A leader dedicated to Jefferson County, Colorado!

Charlie Sturdavant was born and raised in Oregon.  He moved to Colorado in 1975, after gaining a Masters' degree in Geology.  Once in Golden, he joined the Parks Board in 1991 through 1999.  Charlie was also Cubmaster and then Scoutmaster from 1997 t0 2008.  He volunteered as a track and field coach at Golden High School from 2002 to 2005, and coached three jumpers to the State Track Meet.  Charlie spends much of his time hosting fundraisers for The Golden Landmarks Association, The Golden Fire-Rescue Department, Christian Action Guild, Foothills Art Center, Hike For Help and the Lions Club.  He has been a lifelong volleyball player, runner-jogger, bicycler, avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, wood worker, and jeweler. 

Charlie's aim is to see a Jefferson County which thrives.
